Amazing property, the pictures do not do it justice, this is more like a small stone castle than a farmhouse.We had everything we needed, and had a very comfortable stay, the property has some lovely new sofas and a very modern huge fridge freezer, lots of sun loungers in the secluded patio area with a great pool, a bit cold at the beginning of April but we still used it as it was really hot basking in the sun, we had a very relaxed stay and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.We used some of the local restaurants in the town square which were both good value and good food.We stayed for eight nights but could have easily stayed another week.the owner has great communication and there is a local agent who can help if you have any local issues.We would highly recommend this rental, although we went as a couple it would be great for a family or even two small families. if you book it you will enjoy it. Property is lovely with good facilities but it is all a bit grubby - needs an upgrade mucky furniture and oven etc

We had a great stay. The house is large and very spacious. The kitchen contained all the appliances we needed and the beds were comfortable and ideally distributed throughout the rooms. We enjoyed the outdoor area the most, whether it was morning, noon, evening or night. The pool was always a pleasure. We were always able to relax on the loungers and had a great time. Due to the central location on the island, you can actually reach any place on Gozo within 15 minutes. Ideal for us, as we did a lot of exploring. Overall, the house was great for us and many thanks to Katharine for the communication in advance.

Excellent property in a perfect location on gozo, a short walk from the restaurants in town. This was perfect for our 10 day stay - 7 or so good restaurants to work through in Xaghra, and every cove/beach on gozo was within 20 min drive. The property itself was well kitted out..large fridge/freezer earned its keep in water storage, and the kitchen had an oven/hob and double sink plus a utility room with double sink and washing machine/iron. The living area was spacious and open plan and had TV/internet and sofas so nice lounging around area. We made use of the BBQ and the local butcher in Xaghra on a couple of occasions and it was great to have that flexibility to chillout at the place and eat or eat out close by as well as further afield. The combination of a quiet island like gozo and this place was perfect for us. Note the info folder is a bit out of date - Wifi access code is on the router, search the internet for the waste collection days. CARJET.COM WARNING I wouldn't book a car with carjet.com again - We booked a car for 10 days and paid in full in advance. They reserved it via Movis who re-sold it after we were delayed collecting it on the day. Movis had no cars left when we arrived and Carjet wouldn't return any of the money they pocketed. We had to buy another car on the day from another hire company.
