Comfort Inn

We have stayed at this particular Comfort Inn, Edmunston, NB once or twice a year for approx. 14 years. We have never had a bad stay. There has been a huge change over the years but this year was exceptional. The Inn has been completely updated inside and out! It is lovely.

Looks like someone has stained the new carpet in the hallway which requires attention!

Location

Room was clean and liked that there there was no carpet.

Heater/AC was noisy and not adjustable.

The bed was very very comfortable

Were told because I cant walk that we would need to pay $10 for 1st floor room. Were told we had to pay another $15 for our pet plus they would have a $50 hold until the room was checked. Never advised of any of these charges before hand with booking.com so we were a little irritated to be advised of this. $285 per night was more than we paid for a hotel room in Toronto. I get it that they are on the highway for traveling but to be charged that much and then be given attitude because they do not have a elevator and after driving 13 hours I could not walk up the stairs. Also did not get it that being on the 1st floor was our assurance that our miniature dash hound would not have an accident in the room. None of these extra charges or question if we had a pet Were on the booking.com website!
