Dear General Manager, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding my recent stay at your property. Regrettably, the condition of the room and the poor level of service we experienced fell significantly short of acceptable hospitality standards. Upon entering the room, the first thing I noticed was the poor upkeep; the windows were filthy on the outside and looked as though they had not been washed in years. Furthermore, the room amenities were poorly maintained: the television remote had a dead battery, the refrigerator was completely devoid of water or snacks, and the in-room telephone did not function properly. Additionally, the stickers on the phone’s dialing pad were heavily worn out, rendering the tiny print completely unreadable. Our experience with your team members was equally disappointing. The front desk staff were slow and unwelcoming when assisting guests. This lack of hospitality was mirrored by the breakfast area hostesses the following morning. On Oct 11th, We had an additional seven guests joining us for breakfast, bringing our party to a total of 10 people. Despite providing the restaurant staff with a two-hour advance notice, they chose to seat our group at separate, distant tables at the very back of the restaurant. The dismissive attitude of the restaurant hostesses is entirely unacceptable. Your staff would benefit greatly from professional training on basic guest relations and standard accommodations for large dining parties. Given the numerous oversights regarding both room maintenance and customer service, I request that you look into these matters immediately.
