Chateau Cartier and the Koena spa exceeded our expectations. Given other nordic spas in the area, this one is hands down the best. The staff were kind and pleasant. The facilities were CLEAN! And there was always someone mopping water indoors, which I really appreciate. The sauna ritual staff were lovely, Jeffrey was absolutely marvellous for the Herbs and Aufgass Bonne Nuit. The food at the restaurant was very high quality. We loved the rainbow roll and the Brussel sprouts at KATO. The price was higher, given it was at a resort, but not overpriced given the quality and portions. This is a perfect getaway for anyone who lives in the NCR (National Capital Region - Ottawa/Gatineau) and needs an escape, or anyone visiting the NCR from other places!
