Guest House on the Mount

Proximity to Hospital was nice.

Had no Air Conditioning, so windows were open. And... at 3:10 a.m.. a firetruck with lights and sirens came to the front circle drive, below our window waking us. Then returned without lights & sirens 10 minutes later, waking us again

Excellent parking. Good Location. Friendly staff. Coffee prepared early in the morning. Vending machine with water and snacks. Kitchen amenities: fridge, freezer, kettle, microwave, dishes, etc. Beautiful, large, clean, quiet common room Relaxed, quiet vibe Check in/ check out process easy Tables for eating meals a nice and necessary feature. Easy access to Room on 2nd floor (steps and elevator). Nice walking space outside on property Large trees Picnic table outside near parking lot Two keys to room being provided Security/safety of having overnight staff

Toilet sluggish in Room 207 Twin bed mattresses in Room 207 saggy and soft. Carpet in Room 207 at entrance to Room needs deep cleaning. Color (brown) of bed cover yucky. Lack of kitchen silverware - but understand the problem. Weird unusable balcony - no furniture and not inviting.

I loved the whole essence of the place! Its history, its vibe, the path and the grotto, the beautiful chapel in the seniors’ residence, the comfort of the room and single bed, and the kitchen and shower facilities

Nothing is coming up for that The only 2 things were minor: 1) I am from out of town, so when I sat down to eat my dinner, I was excited to eat and read the little list that stood on all the tables about all the happenings going for the month in the area. However, I soon realized the August list had not been updated to September yet (and it was September 10!) 2) very loud air conditioner in the room - I chose to turn it off and open the window - which is my favourite thing to do anyway! And the evenings are nice and cool anyway

The Inn is close to London University Hospital where we had a early morning medical appointment

The Inn does not provide a coffee maker in the room. You have to go out to another floor to use their communil kitchen facilities.
