Holiday Inn Express and Suites Surrey by IHG

From start to finish, our stay at the Holiday Inn in Surrey was top-notch. When we arrived, the receptionist welcomed us so warmly that we felt like VIPs right away! The room was super clean, very quiet, and huge enough that we never felt cramped. We also thoroughly enjoyed both the pool and the sauna. Breakfast every morning was amazing-nutritious, well-balanced, piping hot coffee, and constantly replenished. What stood out most was the management's care. I thought I had lost a shirt while switching rooms, and the General Manager personally called me to update me on their search. Even though later found it tucked away in my suitcase and called to apologize for the false alarm, she was so sweet and courteous about it. You can really tell the staff cares about their guests. I'm already looking forward to my next trip to the Vancouver area- definitely wouldn't stay anywhere else!

The hotel was very nice. The room was comfortable and large. The beds, linens, and other amenities were all comfortable. We enjoyed our stay in Surrey.

The location is a long way from anything. It is close to the highway, but not close to downtown Surrey at all. It would have been nice to have an EV charger.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the IHG in Surrey. Love the decor and the room was so comfy. Had everything we needed there. Would definitely stay there again. we were happy about the dove soaps and lotions. Nice to have applicators right in the shower/bathtub. My husband really enjoyed the continental breakfast as I’m not an early riser. He often brought me something. Tasty. Looking forward to the next time we can stay there.

I honestly can’t think of one thing that we did not enjoy

The aircon was keep turning off by itself and itwas so warm to the point that we didn’t sleep for the first night. The tea bags looks old and did not replace them.
