Clean and modern with a good breakfast

We have stayed at this hotel many times over the past few years. The hotel is very convenient to driving, with not needing to drive through the city off the highway. There is ample parking for anyhone towing a trailer. This room was much better than a room we had just a week previous. We found an issue with the table about to fall apart due to missing bolts securring the legs. When it was reported to the front desk, they had a maintenance person come to the room within 10 minutes to tighten all the bolts. This was fast service. The provided hot breakfast was as expected, and slightly different than when we stayed at this hotel just a week before. Staff were very friendly and we felt welcomed to the hotel by them.

The bolts holding the legs onto the desk desk were so loose or missing that it felt the desk was going to fall over. If they wiped the table when cleaning the room, there is no way the cleaning staff could miss how wobbly and insecure it was. I would expect the cleaning staff to report this problem so that it was not an issue for the next customer (like us). One leg bolt was actually laying on the carpet, which could not be missed if the area was vacuumed. It was an easy fix that took just 5 minutes with the right tool. The hotel has 2 elevators. One has been out of service, apparently for some time, as it was not working just a week prior.

Good location on edge of city

The hotel was clean, quiet, and in a convenient location with plenty of parking. The staff were friendly, and the complimentary breakfast had a good variety with everything well stocked.

The room felt very damp, and there was a noticeable musty smell and black spores in the shower that made us concerned about possible mold. For the price we paid, we expected a much fresher, better-maintained room, and the overall condition did not feel like good value.
