Close enough to the village to walk there and still walk through the village and enjoy it. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful.

There was construction going on, updating many rooms, and we didn't get one of the finished rooms. The room was dated and perhaps next stay we will get one of the finished rooms. The comforter on the bed was too thick and heavy, hard to regulate temperature with such an insulated layer on the bed. Need better labeling on the trash and recycle disposal.

Great location for exploring Whistler, situated directly across the road from Village North and just a 5-minute walk from the centre of the village. There is a large supermarket nearby with a fantastic selection of groceries and ready-made hot food, plus a BC Liquor Store. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable, with a double bed and a well-equipped kitchenette including a hob, fridge, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. It was easy to prepare breakfast in the room, and having windows that opened was a nice touch. The shower had fantastic water pressure, and there were plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. There is also an outdoor pool, although we didn't have time to use it during our two-night stay.

The welcome at reception was disappointing. The staff member checking us in wasn't particularly friendly or informative, and I had to ask for details about parking and how to pay. Parking needs to be paid for in advance through an app rather than being added to the room bill, which would have been helpful to know upfront. The receptionist was also using her phone and eating crisps while serving guests, which didn't create a very professional first impression. The room was quite basic and a little dated, although it was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was small, and unfortunately, the wall-mounted hairdryer didn't work. There are no dining facilities in the hotel, although this wasn't a major issue given the kitchenette in the room and the many restaurants nearby. If driving, be aware that you need to obtain your room-specific access code before entering the parking garage.
