Hotel Lützow

The location was great, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was also nice and quiet. It is situated about a 25 min walk from the Brandenburg gate. There are restaurants 2 mins walk away. I would use the hotel again.

The shower was falling apart, but there was plenty of hot water. There was a sink and a microwave in the room, however no plates or cutlery. So I'm not sure how useful the microwave is ? I suppose we could have asked for some, but didn't feel the need to use either . .

The hotel is located in a nice and safe area with good transport connections. Our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, and the bathroom was also very clean. The staff at the reception were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We also tried the breakfast buffet, which was rich and offered a wide variety of options. Considering the selection and quality, it was definitely worth the price. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed our time at the hotel.

There was nothing significant to complain about. The only downside was that accommodation prices were much higher than usual during our stay because of a festival taking place in Berlin. However, this was not specific to the hotel, as prices were generally higher across the city.

The room was clean. Some practical features. In the morning sun on the room, then it was hot. But in the afternoon no sun on the windows and better temperature. Good for the evening. Cooling by opening the window, no aircon. The location of the hotel was good. Not close to the center but to other things.

However the toilet kept flushing the first night. Not so clear why. But could turn off the water, which also turned off the water of the taps. The fridge was another problem. Very noisy motor. So also the turned off the fridge in the night. The public transport in Berlin is a problem when you want to go from the southern part of the city where the hotel is to then northern part of the city where the main train station is.
