We like this Best Western. The breakfast, the facilities, the staff, it really is excellent. The fact that it is of the main highway is part of it, impeccable maintenance is another. It seems as new today as it was the first time we stayed years ago.
The Sunday morning breakfast crush is considerable. The theater crowd can be considerable, the ham was a nice touch though. Nice dog walking here.

Easy check-in. Comfortable bed. Clean facilities. Very good breakfast choices. Kitchenette was well appointed. Good value especially if included with a Chemainus Festival Theatre package.
TV package was limited and so not to our taste.

Our queen & sofabed room had a small kitchen and the bedroom was sectioned away from the sitting room so I could go to sleep before my husband wanted to.
The breakfast was very good with egg and meat options, waffle makers, lots of CARB choices, good coffee, lots of condiments & enough seating for all who came.
They kindly allowed us to park our car and small tent trailer in one of their bus lanes.
It was away from the highway so quite quiet.
The scenery wasn’t great but it was very close to the ocean and the main part of the lovely town of Chemainus.
