Harbour House Hotel

The Patio off of our room had loungers & a cafe table & chairs and we used both. The view of the harbor was gorgeous, particularly at sunrise and sunset. The proximity to Ganges was excellent — nice sidewalks and crosswalks for the entire route. The in-room Nespresso was great!

Convenience. 10 minute walk to downtown

It wasn't that connected to neighboring shops

The location is perfect. Walking distance to Ganges Village but a little off from the busyness.

Too expensive

The hotel was renovated a while back and the rooms are large and pleasant. We really liked the shelves and open storage areas in the bedroom.

The hotel's internet service is absolutely pathetic. For the price of the rooms, this should not be an issue. Also, we found the room rates to be too high for what we received. At the price we paid, we should have at least received breakfast in the hotel's restaurant. A couple of additional issues: The TV in the room was set up so the volume could not be controlled by the remote and it was difficult to figure out how to raise the volume on the TV, shouldn't have been like this. Also, we found the carpets throughout the hotel to be stained and it gave the appearance that the place is unclean, also not what one would expect from the higher-end nightly price.
