Really enjoyed the vintage-style character decor. The basic room amenities were everything we needed them to be.

Location pet friendly

The breakfast location was very convenient. There was enough cereal, bread & bagels. The bed/ mattress was very comfortable.

The tub shower curtain was soiled. The shower curtain rod was upside down, preventing the curtain from staying in place while showering. There was no handrail in the tub. There was no stopper in the sink (I almost lost an item down the sink!) The room needs a makeover as there are burn marks in the carpet & cracks in the bathroom floor. No one seemed to check the breakfast area thru breakfast time to see if items needed to be replenished; I had to go downstairs to ask for more bowls & coffee. Some guests were very timid & just gave up. The fabric seats of the chairs in our room all appeared soiled/stained. Staff not very friendly or welcoming. ie. Didn't even ask if we enjoyed our stay.

Breakfast was disappointing. Only two tables for the whole hotel? No fruit or hot choices.

Bed sheet to cover mattress kept coming off. There was no elastic left in it. One bed was so close to wall that I had a hard time getting out and had to scoot sideways until reached end of bed to go to washroom. We had to carry keurig coffee pot and accessories over to table to access a plug in. Several nicks and gouges on the wall in our room that needed to be poly filled, sanded and painted. Curtains were falling off the hooks and were difficult to close.
