The beautiful heritage building, so thoughtfully and tastefully decorated and furnished. Our host was exceptional - so friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to tell us about the history of the property and even took us on a walking tour of the town. The breakfast was outstanding. Free parking on the street outside was handy, and the private waterfront garden was a lovely place to spend some quiet time.

Breakfast was excellent. Rod is a bottomless source of information and is very helpful with respect to little known details of the town. This historic house is so well renovated and kept that we felt we were in the historical period.
Our rooms were not freshened up, beds were not made after we slept, which I found disappointing. I always look forward to tidied up bed and bathroom when travelling because it isn’t me doing it. For the price of the rooms, we expected this little luxury.

We loved the beautiful dining room and having breakfast with the other guests. The food was excellent and so nicely presented.
The weather was very warm and so was our room. Without the fan provided I could not have stayed in the room.
