Canway Inn & Suites

We have stayed here 2 previous years to visit my brother for Thanksgiving. Always enjoyed this hotel. Staff are helpful and accommodating. Unfortunately, the ventilation system in our room didn't work. It was a very warm October day and the room was very warm. The air conditioning was central and none operational. Our first night was so warm, I got very little sleep. The staff had provided a floor fan that provided some relief. We were offered a change of rooms. Unfortunately, I do not do stairs well. All rooms on the main floor were occupied. For the 2nd night we were offered another fan. This helped immensely. The 2nd night was considerably cooler. We left the door open for several minutes to cool the room. Because none of the windows open, we were unable to maintain a consistent temperature. The room over all was very nice. The bathroom had a very nice recently installed one piece tub enclosure . Other than the temperature issue, everything was okay.

Lack of individual room temperature control and inability to open a window.

Stay was very good. Quiet and relaxing. Hd everything we needed. Liked the dual entrances, to the outdoors and hallway.

The only thing that was disappointing was NO handrails for the hot tub. Seniors have a difficult time exiting the tub.

Affordable & conveniently located place with all that you need!!

The room was fine, clean & comfortable

The other guests near me were noisy and knocking on my door at 10:30pm looking for their friends, then they were knocking on a few other doors trying to find their friends.
