Velora Hinton, an Ascend Collection Hotel

It was great experience. I had my birthday so front desk receptionist ( Mr. Sandesh) upgraded my room to suite as a complimentary for my birthday. Room was so clean and hygienic. Location is good . If we get a chance to go again then i will recommend this property.

There was nothing to unlike at this property except food (Tandoori Kona Restaurant)

Large room, well designed, very comfortable bed, friendly staff

The breakfast situation with it being in a nextdoor Indian restaurant is slightly odd. The location is ok overall, the price is accordingly fair, and it's a good way to get into the national park and mette hot springs

It was a perfect location for us and comfy beds.

The alarm clock was ridiculous! Someone set it up at 6am and we have no idea how to turn it off. It was such a nuisance especially we wanted to have a sleep in

Nice and easy check in. The location was good for our journey through Alberta. Clean room and good facilities. The hotel dealt fairly with complaint below, and manager has contacted us promptly for which I am grateful. This was such a shame as otherwise hotel was great.

Major issue with noise from 5am. Clearly someone was in the gym on a running machine directly beneath our room 213. Noise so loud other guests were also disturbed. Had to call reception who eventually spoke with the person using the gym. 15 mins later noise from rowing machine could be heard. At 5.45am I dressed and went to reception. I was informed gym was open 24 hours. However receptionist did speak to the person again and the noise stopped at 6.15am. Such a shame as this issue coloured our experience of an otherwise lovely hotel with good staff.
