The hotel is extremely dated and run down. Hasn't been updated in probably 30-40 years. There were lights flickering in the hallway, parts of the roof falling apart above the staircase, ancient vending machines that only take cash. In the room there was a strong musty smell, the thermostat on the wall had been smashed, there were holes in the wall, the bed frame was so cheap that if you sat on the end of it, the top of the bed would lift up, the wall outlet in the bathroom was covered in rust, the plug in the bathtub had a hole in it making it useless, the AC made a horrible squealing sound, there is a small window that opens but there is no screen so if you open it bugs will get in, dust caked on the headboard of the bed, wall trim along the floor missing, cobwebs in the corners by the widow. The lighting was dim. The only upside of the room is that the bathroom seemed to have been renovated, aside from the outlet, however the walls in the bathroom were extremely dirty. The shuttle driver was rude and pushy and drove like a maniac. Honestly it's shocking that they charge so much, this isn't even the cheapest hotel in the area. The only positive is the location and that the staff were friendly, however they're being forced to use archaic methods to check people in as well. Look, I'm not opposed to a dated hotel as long as it's clean and well maintained, but this one isn't.
