La Gentilhommière

This was a perfect destination! Excellent property looking towards a river behind the property flowing into the St. Lawrence River. Peaceful setting. Great Adirondack chairs to sit in and just relax too. The most outstanding part of La Gentilhommière are the owners, Genevieve and Claude who welcomed us as if we’re old friends. And not to forget the breakfasts and pizza you can purchase there…absolutely perfect!! A+++!

Nothing to dislike.

The proprietors/hosts were wonderful. They were extremely helpful, professional, cordial and our contact with them was certainly a highlight of our stay here. Location was excellent...perfect actually as we were able to have easy access to the whale watch we did in Toudassac and right there take the ferry across to Riviere du Loup the next day. One other thing...we ordered our breakfast the night before as required and were told it would be delivered to us the next morning despite our asking if we should come down to the lobby area to pick it up. It was delivered precisely at the time arranged...no tip accepted.

Our room was somewhat dated, however it was comfortable and very clean. We'd stay here again, particularly given our excellent hosts.
