The Gallivant Times Square

The hotel is in an excellent location, just a few minutes walk from Times Square and many subway stations, restaurants, famous shops and the hussle and bussle of Times Square, yet situated on a relatively quiet street. The staff is warm, friendly, and always ready to help with anything you need. We were a family of four and stayed in the queen suite, which is like a small suite divided into two separate rooms (without a connecting door). The suite was tight for 4, we stayed 5 nights but the price was unbeatable! The beds were very comfortable, and the blackout curtains are great at keeping out the morning light. The hotel does not have a dining room/restaurant. However, there is a gym where you can get hot or cold water from a dispenser. The room comes with a small coffee machine.

Long wait for elevators, sometimes up to 10 minutes. Need more wall hooks and hangers in the bathroom and in the rooms, especialy in the family room where it gets crowded for 4.

Location was great 👍 can't complain

The hotel could do with some sprucing

The location is fantastic, Its literally close to all the Times Square area attractions. The rooms were on the smaller side but comfortable, the staff was always very nice.

The bathroom ceiling air vent fan was broken, mentioned the issue to a staff member and she told that unfortunately because of the building's age that was happening at several floors - bathrooms,

Good location, walking distance to most areas. Subway entrance is half a block away. They offer bag check-in.

Very rundown property. Everything was beat up, peeling paint, shower would fill up and take a very long time to drain. So when you’re showering the water comes up to your ankles. The bedsheets were nice and clean, but everything else in the room was dirty. There was crumbs all over the floor, so they never cleaned.
