Lakeview Inn

This room had everything need for my overnight stay. It was the nicest motel in Blind River. All the others were not as advertised, old, rundown and looking unkept. I am glad I am glad I chose to stay at the Lakeview. It was recommended by a client in Blind River. The room was clean, bright, WIFI worked great and the bed was comfortable. I had an excellent sleep. There was some traffic noise it's on the highway but it didn't bother me at all.

A restaurant on site would have been perfect. I was unable to find somewhere to eat other than Tim Hortons or Subway. The room had a toaster, microwave and fridge so I could have made something. A grocery store is also located in the same plaza as the Subway.

The place was very clean and incredibly well equipped with everything we could possibly need, including a toaster, microwave, refrigerator, capsule coffee machine, electric kettle, and hair dryer. It was so comfortable that I was genuinely impressed. Honestly, it was much better than some well-known hotels I’ve stayed at. We stayed here after taking the Agawa Canyon train tour. One thing to keep in mind is that supermarkets around this area close at around 8:00 p.m., so I would recommend picking up some food at a nearby Walmart or another store after getting off the train before heading to the accommodation.

Location is right in town but lots of truck traffic.

We stayed in mid-October and they had yet to turn the boilers on so no heat in the room. It was in the 30’s outside and 64 in the room. When I mentioned it the next morning I was told that the maintenance usually puts a heater in the room and I should have called and asked for one. The mattress was FIRM!
