The Wade

Room was nice enough, plenty of space for one person, including a small "living room" set up. Liked that there was a small refrigerator, working safe, and plenty of closet space (for one person). The location was great! Easy walk to shops, restaurants, Miracle Mile, if you are a tourist you have the Navy Pier across the street. The staff was friendly all around and made check-in and check-out easy.

The decor was fine; you can see some of the "upkeep" throughout the room. My window looked out directly into another building so not ideal for desired direct daylight (and views) but it did not dampen the stay. The television control didn't work 100% . I had to manually turn on/off the t.v. set on the t.v. side panel. Additionally, the control would allow to scroll stations up and down once on, but wouldn't turn the unit on/off or help you find the channel guide with the press of the button. The desk set up for working on computer was not great; it felt cramped sitting so close to the the wall and t.v. station, but I am used to a much larger desk with more working space, so this may be ok for most people who are there as tourists and not working. The desk chair was not a rolling chair as expected, so I found myself working on the bed more often because of this. A small coffee table in the "living room" would have made it easier when eating. None of this made my stay bad however.

Lake front view overlooking the navy peir. Overall good experience and would stay again. Close enough to everything without being right in the middle.

Some things seemed to be in need of a little tlc, TV cut in/out and elevator sounded bad which was a little scary

Great location and amazing views!! The room was so cute.

The room didn’t have a microwave which was a bummer and our air conditioner didn’t work. We asked someone to help fix it and it never got done. So we were hot all weekend.
