We loved our room with its terrace and stunning sea view. The room was so big and bright. The bed was really comfy and we had everything we needed. Heidi was the most hospitable hostess you could ask for. She gave us suggestions each morning on where we should go and as a result we went to several beautiful provincial parks and lovely cafes and restaurants.

This is a beautiful property right across the street from Davis Bay. Our host Heidi was warm and charming and very knowledgeable about the area. And her breakfasts were fabulous!! Add to that a comfy bed and a veranda to watch the sunset and it's almost paradise!
The only thing I can say is that our room was a bit small. However there are two other much larger rooms, equally charming and filled with lovely things.

The location was good although lots of traffic going by. It was close to a couple nice restaurants and had a nice walking path along the beach. Breakfast was decent and the hostess was very nice who provided some good recommendations on what hikes and restaurants to visit.
We booked two queen rooms but one was significantly larger with a bigger bathroom and sitting area. Ours was so small with a tiny bathroom so we were quite disappointed. The pictures online do not match the current condition, the house is definitely older and the front area was not a nice garden as the pictures showed. It had a hole in the cement patio that was covered by a tarp.
