Rodeway Inn Alameda-Oakland

I like the friendly staff and location was great..I would go back there if I needed a place stay again.

I had no disappointment

Location wasn't bad as there was a restaurant that serves sea food along with stores to run across the street to get some food or snack to stay in at the motel. The cleaning in the room was good but see some scratches or patches from the floor or specific areas but that's a two star motel for you. Parking looks good but don't own a car so not sure what the fee is but has an ice machine in case the weather is hot. Overall a not bad motel to stay in for a few days but you get what you paid for for a 2 star motel.

Not much but the cards to use to get in your room is magnetic and will not work if its paired in with your phone or wallet so make sure you have an extra pocket to store in your key card to separate those or you'll have to request a new one to get in your room

Super location, loved having Peet's Coffee right out the door!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly at this price, wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I liked the location. The second room I received was clean and serviceable. The shower was excellent, great water pressure. Parking convenient. Location of the hotel was excellent for our purposes. It is close to a drugstore where one can buy snacks, and also attached to a restaurant.

Went to check in at 3pm, the first room I was assigned was not cleaned yet so I had to go back to the office to receive another room. The keys we were given for the second room each worked only once, so I had to go back to the office with my ID and get them re-magnetized after I went out, and let my partner in since his key also worked only once. While I was sitting in the room by myself another guest successfully unlocked the door with their key. This was the part that bordered on not cool and possibly dangerous. The other guest was sheepishly apologetic, but something needs to be done about the key situation
