Location, food, shuttle, staff, decor and vibe, easy parking. I love everything about this hotel and have never had a bad experience. The only thing that could make it better is if it was free!
The hotel was sold out and thus the bar was very busy - there should have been more than one bartender.

The old school nostalgia , great staff
I paid close to $300 for one night and still had to pay extra for parking and the wallpaper in my room was lazily stapled to the wall

We came for the Brewers game.precheck was done so we got our room fast. The proximity to the stadium is why we chose the Ambassador.
There were no amenities for the gusts. Free coffee in the lobby. We are early risers so we had to wait for regular coffee to be available. There are Kurigs in the rooms but not enough condiments.
