Holiday Inn Express Richmond Airport by IHG

Clean, comfortable bed and a they did have gluten free/dairy free option for oatmeal breakfast. The staff allowed me a little later check out. The morning shuttle worked great.

Shuttle was not available after midnight. I had booked this hotel specifically because of the airport shuttle- they were not clear that shuttle does not run 24 hours. I wrote multiple times through booking to see if shuttle was available and they did not reply.

I loved the location, easy to get in and out of. Lots of restaurants close, and a WAWA right next door. The staff were great. I hope they have more staff though. In 3 days we only saw two people at the front desk. Those same 2 people doing the breakfast and helping people with luggage,running the little market, etc.

I really wish they had an ice machine on our floor. We were at a wedding for a cousin and with the rehearsing dinner, getting ready, all the things. I had no extra minutes to go get ice downstairs. It woke have been nice if it was mentioned or if they brought ice to you. Oh, and no room service. I realize we could habe for dashed but I was too tired to foodie it ever everything was and all that. I'm immunocompromised, as well. After being some people all day I'm exhausted. Esp a wedding. It was a nice place to land and we really enjoyed our stay.
