The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms had everything needed for our stay.

To connect to my last response, the rooms had everything necessary for our short stay, but the facility is outdated. But nothing that was impossible to overlook.

Very communicative staff and simple process

Doesn't bother me much but the property is close to the freeway and for light sleepers that is something to consider

Immaculately clean!! Great location - completely walkable to downtown Walnut Creek. Noah’s Bagels across the street and open at 6am.

I said I’d be arriving at 5pm. At about 4pm I got a call from the front desk explaining that if i didn’t arrive by 5 I’d have to wait until 5:30 to check in because he wouldn’t be available. Seemed like a very strange request given that checking in at 5pm is a fairly common practice and the website says you can check in from 4-8:30. In the end i got there at 4:50 so it wasn’t a problem. But it was strange and didn’t give me an good initial feeling.

They allowed my dog.

The room had a noticeable smell of smoke residue, which was unpleasant. The sheets appeared to be clean, but they had been washed with a heavily scented product that I found overwhelming. The pillows were also very uncomfortable and much too puffy. I mentioned to the staff that it would be helpful to offer a variety—one flatter pillow, one medium, and one puffy. Instead, all three were extremely puffy. Lastly, the heating/air-conditioning unit was very loud, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. Overall, these issues made the room much less comfortable than I expected.
