Wingate by Wyndham Gurnee

Close to the mall and places to eat

Pool was small, not a lot of variety for snacks and drinks, limited breakfast

Hotel, room and bathroom very clean. Nice and quiet many choices on restaurants and for shopping

Very clean and comfortable, great location

Nothing

Affordable and close to several restaurants. The bed and sofa were both very comfortable.

The bathroom - the shower/bath is not textured so it is very slippery, and the water pressure is way too high. It’s like being sprayed with a hose. The toilet seat was also very uncomfortable. The fan could not keep up with the steam, so everything on the counter was wet. Also the pool is basically in the lobby so it smells like chlorine as soon as you walk in. The hallway and elevator had standing water half the time.
