We stayed at Sand Rose Beach Resort on South Padre Island over Memorial Day Weekend to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. We caught a CCR tribute band at the amphitheater and the Chris Rivera Band at the Longboard, and the location was great for both. The pool was nice, the room was very spacious, and we would definitely stay here again!
Parking was a bit crowded during our stay. I had a hard time finding a spot close to the hotel entrance. It was a small inconvenience, but everything else about the stay made up for it.

The location was great, the beach beautiful and the facility very clean. It was nice that it came with breakfast, which had an omelet bar. The hotel has very easy access to the beach and there are laundry facilities on each floor. Pets are permitted for an additional fee.
Parking was a hassle and since you payed a daily rate for it, it was inconvenient. Our room never got cleaned, even after we called down and asked to have it cleaned and were told that someone would come up, nobody came. The facility needs some renovations, for example the balcony railings were all rusty and wobbly.

I like where it was located right beside Clayton, and there was access to the Beach. I did get there a little bit early and they did give me my pass and my bracelets and they gave me the room an hour early.
I didn’t like that only one elevator was working. I have a feeling they didn’t clean my room that good because I found some shoes in the balcony and they were not ours and some towels were kind of dirty like if they just fold them and just put it back where it was so I’m kind of iffy.
