Holiday Inn Express Corvallis-On the River by IHG

We normally book cute little boutique hotels and rarely book at Holiday Inn (or any kind of corporate hotel) anymore. We were late in booking; apparently, it was homecoming weekend, parents' weekend, a home game- everything was booked. We booked on the day we were arriving, so the worst rates at every hotel. We saw Holiday Inn Express on the River at $399--we were bummed, like omg, we're paying a lot of money for not much but there's nothing else open in Corvallis, so we took it. --Holiday Inn EXCEEDED our expectations! First, the staff was fantastic! Then we get to our room and a corner room with a fall view of the river--2 windows and blackout curtains. Super clean, an iron, good shampoo/conditioner, and a sign in our bathroom--did you forget anything, we've got it? Yes, guess who didn't have a toothbrush. Also--laundry service. Coffee 24 hours. Pool/hot tub-- (we missed this opportunity!). Then breakfast- 2 things- the omelets were great! SO many options and a "To-Go bag!" --we grabbed bananas as we had to leave early and some yummy muffins. It's kind of a reminder of what larger hotels can offer and brought me back to my youth when we stayed at every Holiday Inn! So expectations EXCEEDED! We had a great stay, and it was actually worth what we spent on location, breakfast, and comfort! SUPER pleased with this hotel!

This is our go to place to stay for fall & spring family weekends for OSU. The staff each time has been so wonderful and welcoming! Appreciate coming back to cookies and coffee in the evening too.

This is our go to hotel in town.. great breakfast, large clean rooms a quiet.. all walking distance to downtown/campus.

I liked the location for my event that I was attending, but the smell on my floor was awful. There was so much noise in the hall and outside. I couldn't hear the tv over the noise. The staff was very friendly.
