Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Madison West - Middleton by IHG

Was a nice hotel. We were there Sunday through Wednesday. It was quiet out of the way. Kids loved the little waterpark. The restaurant attached was convenient. No delivery to room. Food was very good.

Directions were vague. Check-in can be a little chaotic with a family. Especially after traveling all day. There was no literature in the room as to where things are. Like tv guide, restaurants, local attractions, WiFi never worked the 3 days we were there seemed to loose connection in our room but worked in the lobby. And the last little annoyance was that there were only 2 towels in our room with a family of 4. So every day I had to stop at the counter and get more.

The breakfast and staff were great.

My daughter had lots of fun at the water park. It is not large, but great for 1 to 8 yo kids. There is a ship in a small poll for 1 to 3 or 4 little ones, a pool with the main water slide for big kids, and a hot tub for adults.

Breakfast. Restaurant was crowded, staff was unable to keep most of the options available during the assigned breakfast hours (to a point there were no eggs, no potatoes, no pancakes, no biscuit, no yogurt, no fruits and no cereal at 9 am. It took them 15 minutes to refill it - and not all items. They ran out of kids cereal all days of our stay). For dinner, the restaurant was decent but service was inconsistent (junior employees only). Room was ok, but outdated. The Water Park got crowded during the weekend (there are birthday parties guests in addition to the hotel guests).
