Hotel Parmani Near Stanford University

The room was quiet, and it looked clean. It was pretty spacious. The location worked well for me.

The room looks pretty run-down and outdated. The paint is chipping on the walls in several places. I would have also appreciated having thicker blankets to allow one to sleep with the heater off (its turning on-off usually disrupts my sleep, so I prefer to just leave it off and use a thicker blanket).

Room was clean, amenities were good enough, was good to see a coffee machine with Starbucks coffee pods. Cleaning staff was friendly. When I checked out I was allowed to keep bags in storage for a few hours. Central location, walking distance to cafe, close enough to the university

There was no one at the reception when I arrived. Only the kiosk. No place to store my bags until the room was ready. Breakfast not included with the room. I was not informed of any facilities when I arrived. I would say it is a motel, not a hotel.

wish there was a person in the lobby when you check in

Our stay was quiet. We were not disturbed by noisy neighbors. The beds were comfortable.

On first appearance, the place seemed to be more of a motel instead of a "hotel". It was worn and surfaces felt sticky (unclean). There was chipped paint on the wall, and open drywall where a towel hanger used to be. The toilet tank would not fill at times b/c of a sticking flap. In the morning, while we were getting dressed sitting on our beds, a worker began to tape our windows from the outside with a plastic cover, long before the check-out time. I felt uncomfortable by this invasion of privacy, and furthermore was bothered that our view had been obstructed. The proper thing to do would have been to wait until the official check-out time.
