Good location, easy access to the highway, great staff, short distance to town, clean, affordable, great parking, indoor pool, manicured lawn
The fact that the water in the shower rose to the top of the tub no matter how I tried to get it to go down it had to go down slowly for the next person to take theirs and then the same thing happened! Plus no play ground equipment for children to play on!

The rates were reasonable. The location was very convenient to everything in Mackinaw City. The bed was clean and really comfortable and the pillows were great. The in-room fridge was super cold. My food and drinks were kept at a very cold temperature. The microwave was clean. The bathroom facilities, while dated, were clean and worked great although the bathroom fan was quite loud. The HVAC system seemed to work well.
The room had a strange odor, like a cross of old cleaning supplies and old woman perfume. The carpet seemed like it needed a good cleaning, or even replacement. When searching for an electric outlet near the nightstand between the beds, I noticed that the carpet behind the beds and up against the walls needed a serious deep vacuuming. It was very dirty.
