Howard Johnson by Wyndham St. George Hotel & Suites

Convenient for being able to get to where we needed to be for our trip. The older gentleman who works the desk in the afternoon/evening is super friendly and helpful with any questions we had. He made the stay enjoyable whenever he was around.

Definitely felt like our room was one that was still in progress of being renovated. Lighting could be better inside room. We noticed the shampoo in our bathroom was nothing but watter mixed with very little shampoo, thankfully we didn't need to use it, but it just makes it feel ghetto and dirty. Personally I think it would be better to not put any shampoo out at all if they can't afford to put unused ones in the room for new guests.

The staff was very friendly.

The breakfast was a little lacking… just styrofoam toast and old hard boiled eggs.

Not enough parking, towels and linens were old, threadbare and stinky. The bed frame was coming apart.The bathroom was not well taken care of, and cleaning was lackluster. Mirror and artwork had odd splatters like spittle on them. The toilet didn’t flush well, gurgled every time it was flushed and was slow to drain. The shower was old and needed the old moldy caulking removed and recaulked. There was a spot near the desk that looked to be mold they just painted over and the mold was coming through the paint. The door didn’t sit right in the jam and there was about 1/2” of daylight under and you could hear everything outside.
