Marriott's Timber Lodge

The best part about this hotel is the proximity to the casinos without staying at the casinos. We could walk to the casinos and walk back which was great. The amenities in the room were good. There was a fridge, microwave and some utensils and plates.

Upon checking in, we were told there was construction. While it was the weekend, and pretty quiet, we get to our room and our view was mostly blocked by the scaffolding. Also, our room was a LONG ways from our check in. Another building and near the end of a long hallway. There was the cost of the room, which was not cheap, but also the cost of the valet which added another $45. This valet cost was a surprise. Maybe it stated it somewhere at booking but did not notice it.

The room was of good size, very clean , the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and good size too. The location is superb !

We received a room with connecting door to the neighboring one , so we could hear our neighbor through the door, all the time . It was unfortunate for both sides, I guess. Also, the hotel’s renovations made our stay a little less wonderful.

The room was lovely. Valet parking is great. Staff and cleanliness were really good. I didn't mind the renovation going on at all. I'm sorry I didn't take advantage of a yoga class while there. Pool was nice too, though.

The location is perfect. Close to the shops, Stateline, restaurants, bars, etc.

The quality of room and property are not worth the price. Small room, out of date fixtures, parking is limited and entrance and exit is too narrow. Valet services were great! Front desk staff as well were friendly.
