Hôtel & Appartements Monsigny

This is a 3-star hotel but had it's hits and misses if you ask me. Breakfast was good. Location is bang on the high street so very easy to go to the station or for shopping or a 20min walk to the main square and then old town. Staff was helpful. It has a lovely restaurant out front, guests even get some discount for dining, we couldn't try the food though so not sure how good is it.

For a 3-star I was expecting a bit more, no kettle, cups, mini fridge or coffee station in the room, no complimentary water, room was quite tiny, I think we were in the old wing of the hotel because when we walked to the breakfast room we realized that, that part looked really modern n newish. I had to pay a deposit to get a kettle in the room, no room service for that, had to go down 5 floors to and collect & return them myself. I am sure they have their reasons but this all adds to the experience right.

We really enjoyed our six-day stay! The hotel is in an excellent, very central location, just a few minutes from the train station, trams, shops and pretty much everything you need. It made getting around incredibly easy. The team were generally lovely, everything was clean, and the breakfast offered a reasonable selection of standard options. A massive thank you to Richard and the team! Richard, who worked at reception in the mornings, was an absolute star. He was incredibly welcoming, kind, sweet and helpful every single time we interacted with him. He genuinely made us feel welcome, and his attitude made our stay that much better. I really hope Richard gets all the recognition he deserves (and hopefully a well-earned pay rise!), because people like him make such a difference to the guest experience. Thank you to Richard and the whole team for a lovely stay. We would happily recommend this hotel!

The only minor thing worth mentioning is that the lift was a little quirky, but honestly, this was such a small thing that it barely affected our stay. Also, we have requested two separate beds and got only the joint one. But again, that's a minor issue.

Świetny stosunek jakości do ceny. Hotel super zlokalizowany w centrum Nicei i blisko dworca. Pokoik mały ,ale czysty i przytulny z balkonem na którym można było wieczorem posiedzieć i obserwować życie nocne Nicei. Bardzo miła obsługa na recepcji i przesympatyczna Pani z Polski która obsługiwała śniadania. Śniadania bardzo dobre,duży wybór wszystkiego,pyszna kawa,owoce, warzywa no i prawdziwa dobra jajecznica. Na plus również klimatyzacja- cicha i dobrze działająca. Nie było tez problemu z pozostawienie bagażu po wymeldowaniu. Bardzo polecam!
