Courtyard by Marriott Silver Spring Downtown

Great room. Streaming services available. Nice personal touches. Parking garage next door has level just for the hotel that has a connecting bridge. The location was amazing.

The only thing was there was a woman who worked in the front with glasses that was actively complaining about everything loudly to her coworkers. The register at their little bistro went down, so they asked me to go to reception to pay (which is right next to the bistro) and the woman was visibly upset about it and complained to her coworker right in front of me which made the experience really awkward. She then went to give the bistro workers a hard time about it loudly in front of guests who were eating. At check out, the same woman was complaining loudly about the gueats who were checking in/out to her coworkers and a woman who seemed like a manager. The other employees tried to take the attention off of her, and were very nice, but the other woman in the glasses just threw us off a bit.

I loved the view from the 10th floor. I loved the on site parking garage parking. The staff was amazing at check in and check out. I loved how you needed a key to get into the building and use the elevator.

The room was a tad smaller than i thought. The bistro/ restaurant wasn’t what i expected.
