Washington Dulles Marriott Suites

We were in room 414. We booked last minute when our connecting flight was cancelled. Very modern, well thought out room. They even had a bar attached to the corner of the shower for shaving your legs. This was ingenious and something I’ve never seen before. The living room had a door that closed off the bedroom so one person could sleep and another can work. There was a big couch and a coffee table. Both the living room and the bedroom had huge TV’s. The bed was the most comfortable bed either of us has ever slept in. It’s super quiet. No airport noise. The staff was all very helpful and friendly. Bring food as both the hotel restaurant and the local restaurants close early and if you’re jet lagged you might need food. However, there is a little place you can buy snacks 24x7 in the lobby. There is also coffee in the lobby but not 24x7. Taking the shuttle from the airport is free and easy. It runs every half hour on the hour and the half hour (from the hotel) and on the 15 and 45 from the airport. Be careful when taking the shuttle to the airport from the hotel as there are 2 stops. So make sure you have the correct stop. The shuttle automatically comes until after midnight (when you need to call the hotel for the shuttle). Just follow the signs to hotel transportation.
