Motel 6-Rohnert Park, CA

Room was small and bathroom was horrible for elderly.

Bigger bathroom that can close the door with out having to stand up so door passed my knees. Im 81 years old.

Very clean inside of the room and comfortable beds.

Lots of long term residents with dogs which smelled horrible

Good value, had laundry available.

Staff not knowledgeable or particularly helpful

Front desk people were friendly.

We had a misshap with my room. I need a ground floor because I have a large service dog for mobility and I can’t do steps. Needed close to parking. I booked an ADA room. And said ground floors. I called at 11am that morning. Knowing I would be checking in late. Confirmed I would have a ground floor room because of my mobility and service dog. I paid for the room in full before hand. So I would have this room. Told them I would be checking in around 8:30 tonight. They said all is clear and set. I got to the motel at 8:30pm and the front desk person said the only ada rooms single bed were in the second floor. I told him that was not good. He did not know what to do. As all the single bed ground floor rooms were taken. And finally when I said nicely that a second floor would not do. He reclutinly said “well sence you paid for it in full already I “guess” I can up garage you to a two bed room on the ground floor. It won’t have the walk in shower through. I took it. But was not happy. It was near the pool and not near parking. And that was just the first of many things that happened in my stay. That I was not happy with. People being loud and throwing things on the floor from above me. People running up and down the staircase. Knocking on my door as they went by. Calls in the middle of the night. I finally had to unplug the phone. And someone trying to hit me and my service dog in the parking lot.
