My wife absolutely happy with this stay. Perfect green location, fontain, brekfast, complimentary vine evening - all is the best to visit and enjoy the night.

Absolutely love the location. The ocean (no views, no sounds of crashing waves) is literally across the street. Easy to catch sunrise over the ocean with a very short walk. Lot of restaurants along Cabrillo Blvd, at the Harbor, on Stearns Wharf. Close to City College for those that like to run the track or climb the stadium steps. Running/walking/biking along the waterfront is great, too. Having a second private bedroom was perfect for us. The host was friendly, helpful. We would stay there again.
Certain rooms (like ours) had no balcony. The open windows picked up way too much noise from the alleyway. Bed was too soft for my taste. The continental breakfast was mediocre, so we took full advantage of some of the local eateries.

Location and courteous staff
Run down rooms need serious refresh; expensive location and other than taking a walk on Stearns wharf not much to do other than bike ride for some.
