Hilton Garden Inn Shreveport

We were in a handicap room, neither of us are in a wheelchair but that was fine. We liked that the door had a lower peep hole, as well as the regular height. They had a shower chair in the bathroom, the room was huge and had plenty of room for a wheelchair to get around in it.

The desk person put us in a handicap room which was fine, neither my husband or I are in a wheelchair. However when we got to the room, on the second floor, there was only a couple of things handicap accessible. The counter in the bathroom was higher than normal for handicapped ones, the mirror was high I’m 5’3 and I could barely see in it. The toilet was the normal height, there was a tub with normal height sides and the tub bottom was not textured for anti slipping. The bed was high, I have short legs and struggled a little getting in.

Great layout and clean! Had some food there twice and both times it was good. Even had some drinks at the bar. Everyone was helpful and friendly.

Room service options and menus are not up to date with what they offer. My booking said breakfast was included and it is not, but the coffee bar is free in the morning. Even so a really great place to stay.

Food was delicious, room was clean and very comfortable!

Bed was comfortable.

I can't believe they charge for breakfast let alone $18 per person, outrageous!
