Sun and Sand Resort Oceanfront Suites

The hotel is kinda far from really fun things but it’s still pretty close to a lot of good food and an amusement park.

They advertised a pool and the day we checked it they told us there was no pool for this season. I booked this hotel with the impression there was a pool included. So I probably won’t stay there again but I still had a good experience.

The location is the best. Parking space is limited, however, you can’t beat the oceanfront views.

There was a little inconvenience with communication. My husband had emergency heart surgery. With anticipation that he will not be able to get to the Sun and Sand hotel personally, I made sure I communicated with the property through “message the property “. Got the reply it was noted and will be allowed to assign it to another person, it took awhile before they were allowed. They almost go back home to FarmVille Virginia, which is 3.5 hours drive. However, we loved the convenience of the location and the room was clean and roomy for 5 people. Will definitely consider staying there again.

Room was in a good location to the pier which is mostly why we stay there. As we do a lot of fishing.

On our first night staying woke up to the floor wet not sure if it was from the humidity or confiscation bc we slept with the air off but had to take a towel and dry it up. House keeping never came and got our garbage or our dirty towels and never brought us more coffee they never actually came into the room while we were there. Parking was a headache because I drive a lifted truck and could barely get in or out and definitely wasn’t trying to leave because the top garage was packed
