Wyndham Garden Otsego-Minneapolis

The staff was very kind. We liked the water park even though it needs an update and you can’t even bring in your own water…

The showers in the locker room were moldy and just plain dirty along with a lot of the hotel was just run down which would have been fine if it was at least clean.

Loved the family room. Its hard finding room that accommodates a family of 7. It was spacious. The girls at the front desk were helpful and were nice. I loved the location. They did have sign for hotel parking only when they had an event going on at the restaurant across.

The family room only includes 6 wristbands. The waterpark could use a nice clean along with the locker room. They also close the waterpark 5 minutes early. The arcade was expensive and silly prizes.

It was cheaper and had water park which is only open Thursdays thru Sat. Half day Sunday which fine and arcade.

Every morning by 7am no hot water for shower. It took about 1 hour for them to fix the issue but the next morning same issue had to use my friends apt shower.

Staff were friendly, the hotel wasn't bad but a little dated. Free breakfast on weekdays was a nice touch. We were expecting to have to pay for breakfast every day.

The water park only being open weekends kind of sucked. It would be nice if at least the hot tub and kiddie pool stayed open during the week even if it wasn't stuffed with life guards. The lifeguards taking 15 minute "safety breaks" every few hours just to stand and chat with each other was weird to say the least. I get no outside food but not even allowing water was a little silly. The door to our room seemed to be shifted and opened with a loud bang every time we opened or closed it.
