Su Casa at Venice Beach

I am in LOVE with this place! We travel often due to my husband being in entertainment. I love finding nice hole-in-the-wall places that still bring that 5 star feeling. This family owned apartment/hotel/house (unique) with the Fig Tree restaurant was by far one of my favorite places I've ever stayed. Literally you are on the beach, while still enjoying the privacy that is hard to find. The owner was so nice. Someone had dented the vehicle we had rented during our stay there and he felt bad he told us we could stay an extra day on him. I had already extended behind my husbands back and so when he extended too...we ended up there for Thanksgiving. We travel with our boys 7 and 9 the place is plenty large enough for the family without feeling like you are on top of each other. We had our Thanksgiving at the restaurant and now we decided we have got to make this a tradition. Every time we are in the LA area I secretly have booked us an additional night or two, three at the Su Casa Venice! We now had a house fire and have been staying in hotels and airbnb's while the home is being built. Looks like we may end up in Venice, I wish this place rented by the month we would stay here and it would take the pain of losing our home away.

Nothing! I love this place! I have stayed at many of the hotels along Santa Monica, Malibu, Venice, Cornado, San Clemente, and I still love this place. Even the sound of the music playing live on the streets. It has a feel of being relaxed and at peace.

Location is fabulous and the staff incredibly friendly and helpful.

That it was very clean and exactly as it was described in the listing. The Front desk staff was very helpful.

The stairs. Lol. We were on the 3rd floor and it is an old building with no elevators and winding stairs.

I loved the location and the size of the room.

There were many stains on the furniture and the walls. The appliances were also dinged up. The smell of the hotel was also not appealing.
