Good bed and nice looking bathroom

Breakfast was a little too continental. Need more fruits and bread selections. Toilet seat was loose on the toilet. This happens more often than not at hotels I stay at and is extremely easy to fix. Couch in the room was very dated but otherwise the accommodations were as expected

The room was very clean. I liked the wooden Venetian blinds that cut out most light. The microwave and refrigerator both worked well. All in all, it was a clean safe environment.

We are older and require softer beds. At home we have a sleep number bed. The hotel bed was so hard I woke up with the thought that I was sleeping on an airport runaway. Also the bed was a bit too tall such that my wife had trouble getting in bed by herself. I had to lift her onto the bed which is not good for my back. When we were younger the bed would not have been a problem. The lamp on the desk didn't work. I am very sensitive to odors. The heavy scent of the deodorizers in the room were overpowering to me and at first gave me a headache which later went away as I grew accustomed to it.

Location

My daughter and I stayed three nights and I went to the front desk the second day to ask for 2 new bath towels. The attendant said we needed to bring the old ones to exchange. Since we were on our way out, we decided to do it later. The next morning before church I took the towels to the front desk and that person told me the exchange was only after housekeeping had gone home and Sunday morning the front desk did not have towels. They said they would have to send a message to housekeeping for them to bring some by when it was convenient. Housekeeping did come by and cleaned the entire room, but it was after we had already left for church It’s just a weird and inconvenient policy.
