Hyatt Palm Springs

Location is in the center of Palm Springs. Restaurants and cute stores everywhere.

It was all great until the chk out day! It only takes one bad experience to ruin a great place. I simply requested an invoice upon check out (for work related travel) and the Lesley from front desk says i have to contact the third party booking to give me an invoice. Not an answer i expected from “a Hyatt.” I was confused coz my colleagues who stayed with me in the same hotel and booked through booking.com got their own printed copy. She repeatedly says its in their policy. I have been staying to different hotels via booking.com and this is the first time I encountered this issue. Why did my colleagues got theirs printed and I couldn’t?

Everything was perfect but balcony furniture was a bit worn out and sharp but for the price one can’t complain, just a minor thing!

The discounted rate was fitting. The hotel is centralized & steps away to Downtown Palm Springs. No need for additional costs to commute.

Overall the hotel is grand but run down. I will stay at the Hyatt again & hope that it can be remodeled & necessary upkeep of the structure will take place. Underground parking is $35 per night. There is no gate or sign indicating additional costs until you get to check in. That information should be posted on the wall at the entry or parking.

Location.

Room was extremely poor condition. The sink and shower drained very slow, the sheets were extremely hard, rough and uncomfortable, the bed was not comfortable, the balcony door injured my hand because it was so difficult to open. There was only one old broken chair on the balcony we requested a second chair and they never brought us one. I’m surprised Hyatt does not upgrade these rooms.
