Holiday Lodge - Salem,OR

We had absolutely nowhere to sleep but we were able to book a room online for the night I was pretty distraught realizing that they needed a $100 cash deposit which we did not have. And the booking was non-refundable. Thinking I was defeated but yet still had hope enough to go to the office and talk to them and The staff worked with us on the deposit and were able to stay in the room for the night judging by the area I would guess that because of the homeless population they would have not let the deposit slide for anything. The staff had so much empathy and a kind heart that they let us stay for the night. With no deposit extremely grateful they did not have to do that. we treated the room with the utmost respect hoping that if someone else is in the same situation as us there will be no hesitation from the staff to pay it forward.

I don't have a negative thing to say about the keep in mind it is a two-star and the cheapest place in town.

Price, Friendly staff (clean, although outdated)

The place was quiet and a comfortable place to stay the staff were friendly and didn't allow trespassers onto property

Wasn't nothing I didn't like

Staff was nice and polite

Bed wasn't that comfortable and the room smelt musty. Reserved a king size bed and it was actually a full.
