Motel 6-Portland, OR - Central

This place was fine for a one night stay. The outside noise level was not loud during sleeping hours considering it being in the city. I felt relatively safe.

No refrigerator, which wasn’t an issue for a one night stay but for a longer stay it would have been inconvenient

I stayed here for over a week and the staff was very accommodating with my need to pay on a daily basis. They never made me feel like a bother. I did see police in the neighborhood and on the property daily. Never saw any problems or heard any problems. I like that this property has a dog potty area in the back corner. If you have a dog, I suggest requesting that back building to make it easier to go potty. I plan to stay here in the future when I bring my dogs with me.

The price is great, but you get what you pay for. The beds aren’t that comfortable but not as bad as some places. I didn’t have any springs poking me and it wasn’t hard as a rock, but the pillows are pathetic. Bring your own! If you’re staying continual nights, they do not come clean your room. I don’t like the round showers, but that’s just a design thing. That drives me crazy because the water goes everywhere!

Cheap clean and safe! I saw police around which let me know that they were there if something went wrong. I love the central location of this property! Right on Highway 26! You can either go across the bridge to the other side of Portland and into Beaverton and Hillsborough and even out to the coast or you can take Powell still Highway 26 to Highway 205 and access the airport or go south or north or hit the 84 and head east! Only minutes from downtown or PSU! While it’s across the bridge an Uber ride is only about $10-$20 depending on what part of West Portland you’re headed to! Most part of Portland are only a $10-25 Uber ride away!

I don’t like the thin walls and you get what you’re paying for in the quality of mattress and pillows. There’s no refrigerator or microwave your room but there is a microwave and vending machines in the office area
