Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Decatur

Comfy beds, clean room, friendly staff.

TV didn't work, toilet so loose it rocked, elevator out of order with us on upstairs level & bad knees.

Good breakfast, everything still worked which was unexpected

Looks like the hotel is picking itself up after being let go for years but there is a long way to go and good value in the meantime

You could have done a lot better with the breakfast Coffee ran out quickly and what little the was lukewarm at best! I understand it’s a continental breakfast which usually entails fruits cereals eggs waffles coffee juice Yours hard biscuits and gravy no fruit bad coffee juice stale bread

We stayed for one night for an event and there were two adults and one teenager in our group. We had expected two beds, but instead, we found a large king-size bed and a sofa bed. We managed to make it work. The room was adequate for a one-night stay. The breakfast was okay; it included grits and biscuits, which provided a nice Southern experience, but there were no eggs or similar options. Our picky teenager was disappointed by that. However, we enjoyed a delicious Tex-Mex restaurant next door for dinner, and the hotel offered free parking, which was a plus.

The lobby had an overwhelming smell of body odor and was grungy. There were no amenities in the hotel, but it was fine for a quick one-night stay.
