We were in the Adobe Suite which is more spacious and with a king bed. Despite not facing the street, there was still quite a bit of street noise as the hotel is on the Main Street of Groveland. It is about 25 miles from the west gate of Yosemite and about 40 miles from Yosemite Valley so allow 60 min to drive in. The bathroom was renovated and very nice. However, the carpeting was pretty old and dingy. I recommend replacing carpet with vinyl plank flooring in a light color.

Groveland Hotel did exactly what we needed for our visit to Yosemite. The room was clean and average in size, while the bathroom was pleasantly spacious. We also appreciated having a coffee machine in the room.
The hotel’s restaurant was closed during our stay, but there was a charming saloon nearby where we had dinner.
The location is convenient for visiting Yosemite: one of the park entrances can be reached in about 30 minutes, while Yosemite Valley is approximately an hour away.

Beautiful historic hotel. Very nice patio.
No elevator or valet service. Had to lug luggage up a flight of stairs and through parking lot. Would not recommend to elderly or handicapped individuals. Restaurant was not open - only Thursday through Sunday. No microwave in room. Ice machine was outside building on floor below rooms.
