Overall, I enjoyed my stay at The Waves Hotel and was pleasantly surprised by how spacious the room was. The room was much bigger than I expected, which made the stay feel comfortable and relaxing. Everything was very clean and well kept, including the bathroom, which was absolutely spotless! One of the things that really stood out to me was how friendly and welcoming Casey at the front desk was. Casey was very kind, and got me checked in quickly with no hassle which really added to the overall experience. As a dog owner, I also really love that The Waves is pet-friendly and only charges $15 per day for dogs. I didn't bring my dog with me on this particular stay, but knowing that I can bring my dog along for such a reasonable fee is definitely something I appreciate and would consider when choosing to stay here again. I really appreciated having AC in the room, especially since it made it easy to keep the room comfortable and to my liking. Having our own Keurig for coffee in the morning was also a great surprise and a really nice touch. The bed was pretty comfortable as well, so overall the room had a lot of things that made our stay enjoyable.

There were a few things that I think could be improved and a few things that you should be aware of if you're thinking about staying at this hotel.... The biggest issue for me was the noise from the room above us. Whenever they turned the water on, the plumbing was extremely loud—loud enough to startle you—and it was VERY annoying until they turned the water off. Thankfully we weren't trying to sleep when the people above us were using the water, but we were watching TV and it made it very difficult to hear the TV without turning it all the way up. Parking was extremely difficult to find close to our room, which was frustrating... For a room that was as large as ours, I also felt the TV could have been bigger. There were also no hangers available, so I was unable to hang any of my clothes up which was a huge bummer. The bathroom towels could definitely use an upgrade as well. I would suggest providing thicker, higher-quality towels and two large towels per person rather than just one thin towel each. Despite those issues, I had a good experience overall. The room being so spacious and exceptionally clean were definitely highlights of our stay. With a few small improvements, especially with parking, noise, towels, and storage, I think The Waves could be even better!!
