Baymont by Wyndham Meridian

Excellent location. Walmart less than a mile away. I am not a morning person so I did not have the provided breakfast. The staff at the desk, as well as housekeeping, on the Friday/Saturday that I was there were exceptional. Sunday morning housekeeper knocked on my door despite the fact that it was not check out time yet and there was a do not disturb sign on my door. There were no hangers, but I didn't need any. I'm sure if I had needed them and asked they would have been provided. Young man at the front desk was very accommodating. I have not stayed in a Stateside hotel for quite some time. The first thing I noticed is that the room did not have a smell. Any kind of smell. Which was nice. Sheets were clean. Plenty of linen provided. The bed was very comfortable to me. I stayed because I was running from the hurricane in Pensacola. One of the other reasons I chose this hotel over others is because they did have an overnight person available for very late check-ins.

As I stated previously, do not knock on my door when there is a do not disturb sign out, unless it's an emergency. Would be nice to have coffee available in lobby. At this particular location the dining room is connected to the lobby so it would be an easy fix.

Location and customer service

Thin comforter that’s it

Price was ok, the desk clerk were nice and polite

NOT impressed at all, the place is old and in serious need of improvements ! Toilet rocked, lavatory faucet loose, back up lock on the door was broken, in a rough area
